Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. As an artist, my goal is to create work that resonates with people from all walks of life. In a world that thrives on connection, I believe it’s important to share who I am and what drives my art.

I've been working as a professional artist for more than 25 years. After finishing a degree in 1995, I moved from the United States to Paris, France. In 2000, I shifted my focus from writing screenplays to painting, and in 2004, I relocated from Paris to Nice, where I continue to live and work. One of the most important things I've realized over the years is that while learning how to paint in oil takes a lot of time and effort, understanding how to paint is a never-ending process.

Over the years, my art has been featured in numerous galleries, exhibitions, and publications, both online and in print. I’m fortunate and extremely grateful to have built a community of collectors, many of whom have become friends, who believe in my work, and am constantly amazed by their kindness and support. Every piece I create is an expression of and an attempt at understanding my thoughts, experiences, and emotions, and our connections to each other. My aim is to inspire, connect, and evoke joy and understanding, to provide a deeper sense of meaning for those who experience my art.

All of my works are signed "N. Turner" in the lower right corner, with additional signature and date on the back. I use extra-fine oil paints on stretched linen canvas for my oil paintings. For works on paper, the materials vary and are specified in each painting's description.
